Key Issues and how they were managed:
Norton Mechanical were approached by Heritage Design & Build to provide a turnkey mechanical and electrical installation to Silverwood House St Georges Hill being a property set within the private estate of Weybridge Surrey and being of considerable square footage with an interior fit out to an ambassadorial standard.
Norton had been highly recommended to Heritage following a number of similar successfully delivered projects within central London and the Home Counties for other construction companies and developers alike.
The services installation was designed to provide the six bedroom property with the most economical and efficient systems but to withstand the demand potential of the large property could have for heating, cooling and hot water demand. Having considerable knowledge of designing and constructing properties of this specification Norton were able to work in partnership with the client ensuring the building services installation was incorporated into the property’s ultimate design intent.
The systems incorporated into the project were Ground source heatpumps, Underfloor heating, building management controls, DB12 insulated soundproofed drainage system throughout and fan coils using chilled water from the heat pump system. The home has a central plant room which is housed within the property’s underground garage.
The building will benefit from our sister company Norton Technical Maintenance whom will commence maintenance of the advanced system within the property from completion of our works.
